I've been waiting for years to see one particular Bugs Bunny cartoon that begins with a sign outside an event. The sign says the event is the Paul Revere Society. I don't recall what the cartoon was about.

Perhaps they will show it today. We’ll keep our eyes peeled.

I wish I would have seen the list earlier. I was able to record the last couple of hours, so I will get some of the greats. About the only one I can think of that I really want to see but isn't there is Robin Hood Daffy with the buck and a quarter quarterstaff. (Ho, haha, guard, turn, parry, dodge, spin, ha - thrust!)

I'm watching it now with my son. I've also been introducing him to these incredible black and white classics:
Popeye the Sailor: 1933-1938, Vol. 1

It was definitely my favorite DVD purchase of 2008. The quality of the reprints, especially the two color features “Popeye the Sailor Meets Sinbad the Sailor” and “Popeye the Sailor Meets Ali Baba’s Forty Thieves”, is amazing. I highly recommend it for any fan of old time animation.

THanks. I flipped in occasionally. Best part is that I now have Cartoon Network West also, so I can see stuff from three hours ago. So if one was at commercial, the other might not be.
I have a Time Life library full of Warner Bros cartoons on VHS in the basement. I gotta see if I can transfer those to DVD. They're from the 80s, but I think I tried once and the DVD recorder wouldn't work with them. Annoying that they'd be garbage now. (probably 20 tapes or so)

Yesterday, my children learned that “murderlize” was not a term daddy made up in his head. They laughed hard at the number of times the term is used in WB cartoons.

1 PM Book Revue with Daffy is a long lost classic. Esoteric and avante-garde. Definitely must be true that those jazz-loving pre-beat artist types were drinking, shooting, or smoking way too much funny stuff when they came up with Danny Kaye Daffy.
To: AnnGora
From A to ZZZZZZZZ with Ralph Phillips is also a long lost classic. My kids really loved this one.
Who knows maybe one day they will air an uncensored Tex Avery festival. Now he was a genius.
To: AnnGora
Tex Avery made the modern Bugs Bunny characters great but Chuck Jones’ psychological characterizations gave the cartoons life.
So, it’s funny to note most pictures pasted here on the thread are Chuck Jones creations. The main clue is found in the eyes emotive cues.

At one point, they had butchered such cartoons into an unwatchable state (gun violence).
