But I was thinking about the old maid being sad - not the ‘first person’ in the poem. :)

As long as you weren’t thiinking of yourself as her, the drama queen who devoted her life to the stage and nothing else.

Good morning, Kitty.
How is your Mother-in-Law doing? Prayers are continuing.

We’re fleshing out a short poem, playing with a toy a poet made.
It’s Poetic License; think of it as a cozy warm refuge from the tics of real life.
When you read fiction you provide all the graphics through your imagination and your mental pictures are almost always better than the movie because they’re part of you.

I believe I understand “Poetic License”. :) You and I are just reading the poem differently - I was afraid by ‘differently’, I must have missed something that everybody knew but me! LOL
To: The Mayor
Happy Thursday, Mayor. Thank you for ODB.
"Through trials we learn to overcome,
Through Christ our victories are won;
Come lay your burdens at His feet
And find this inner peace so sweet."

Excellent lesson today.
Have a wonderful day!
You missed Hugging Day yesterday, so ...

Why, reposting here of course! LOL! That works for me!!:)
I especially like the pic that was taken by the Tall Texan. It is heart-warming to see how the folks in Texas love our Mr. President and his First Lady; God knows they need some Love.
I'm so happy for you that you saw him in person finally. But don't stop there; maybe you will see him again and actually MEET:). It could happen!!
To: JustAmy
How pretty that is! Gotta ask - is that a PSP creation?!
To: JustAmy
LOL
Things to know about Amy: Does not like sushi.
LOL:-)
To: gardengirl
“Passionate Kisses,” that’s a good one too, as well as “I Feel Lucky.”
To: Billie
It's a stolen borrowed graphic. I checked the site but could find nothing that said what software was used. Someone else may have borrowed it before I did. LOL
PSP has a swirl option. I might try making a swirled background and then paste something on top.
That could keep me busy for at least a day. LOL

Well, one of my earlier software programs (Photo Explosion, I think) had a ‘swirl’ effect, and you can apply it directly TO a graphic, and it puts the swirl on it, rather than inserting a graphic inside the swirl. :)

Things to know about Amy: Does not like sushi. Raises hand. I would definitely fit in that category, even without trying it, 'cause I do not like either fish or seafood! :)

My Mother-in-Law is Doing Well now; Thank you, Dear Amy, and All FRiends who have been Praying. She had Surgery on Monday to Remove a Hernia that had been inside her Throat for Many Years, and then Yesterday her Throat and Face began to Swell Up, so they Rushed her into Surgery Last Night and Discovered that Part of the Sutures had Come Undone. They Repaired it, and Now she is Allright, Thanksgiving to our Lord. God Bless you All for your Loving Prayers!

Wonderful news, Kitty! That must have been so scary for all of you - wonder whatever happened that some of the sutures came undone. Hopefully everything will heal properly now.
To: Kitty Mittens
Thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers.
Thanks for the update, Kitty. It is great to get good news.
