Being a dog lover and afficianado, I am familiar with the traits of many breeds of dogs. I know the Border Collie to be a very intelligent and trainable breed.
This may be more than you can handle so I would recommend contacting a professional dog trainer and see if your dog can't be trained to skin and gut the deer.
It sure would save you a lot of trouble.

let me know how that works out for you. I don't think he's going to be around long enough.
He needn't worry about dogs and deer. He'd best be on the watch for kitties...the Nordic type.
