An orange and white kitten found on a snow-covered road changed her mind. Did she try to locate the cat's true owner? I smell a self-promoting rat here.

How cool is that!
I purchased "Dewey" for my sister for Christmas (of course I had to read it before I wrapped it). I thought it was very well written and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
While the story was about a special cat, it was also a story about the people and economic times of a rural town in Iowa.
I highly recommend it for cat lovers

My cat was an abandoned farm cat who had to fend for herself as a young'un. Like the cat in the story, she also eats like a pig, and we think it is due to periods of scarcity in her past. Not a big deal, but she has a preference for meat, HUMAN meat.
