6. In Kentucky it is illegal to sell, exchange, offer to sell or exchange, display, or possess living baby chicks, ducklings, or other fowl or rabbits that have been dyed or colored.

That's not a silly law. Prohbiting livestock that may be eaten from being dyed and then sold as novelties prevents animal cruelty and it also prevents poisoning if people eat the critters that have been dyed with chemicals that are unsafe to ingest.

Also, it helps cut down on the dying and selling of such chicks and rabbits around Easter. Most of the buyers at that time have no clue how to raise the chickens and rabbits and much cruelty has occurred to the animals.

It’s done with food coloring, just a drop injected with a syringe in an egg does the trick. Doesn’t hurt the chick or her eggs or meat. Great little easter gifts for those that want chickens.

Most of them are not silly or wacky laws (the human shaped targets ban being the exception).

This list kind of points out the intellect of the author!

Now, for some wacky laws (not necessarily current):

A town in the Midwest that declared it illegal to allow a dandelion to remain in your lawn for more than 24hrs.

A New England state that declared obscene any lovemaking vigorous enough to wind a self-winding watch.
