See you all at the Hotel New Yorker. That $10 cover is kind of steep but looks like a good value since you get Tommy Dorsey AND supper. Plus, they haven’t increased the drink prices.

Benny Goodman has a regular gig at one of the local hotel showrooms so he will probably be performing too. Maybe bar hopping is in order. I should have included the weather forecast so we could plan better. Arrive early and hunker down for the night or park the roadster nearby and catch a set at the New Yorker and move on down the road.
