What are the odds that this baby boy will grow up to be a mouse exterminator?

I love cats. I have always loved cats. I'm a cat lady. I'm almost a cat myself.
Having said that, I'm not entirely certain they were licking him for the reasons this journalist thinks.

Cat colony? Yeah right, I always see a bunch of cats walking around together. More than likely, the cats spotted this kid lying in the gutter and decided to eat him.

I'm not entirely certain they were licking him for the reasons this journalist thinks. I love cats. Have a few, and am frequently grateful that I outweigh and outsize them by twelve or so times. If the ratio was reversed, I and every other person in my vicinity would have been recycling in a mound of sand long ago.

LOL...but it might be so. I got two felines from the pound, one adult and a Hallmark-card poster kitten. The older cat instantly adopted the kitten and lavished attention on him...and both are male cats.

We had a cat that lived to be 19 - and was very protective of the children...to the point of attacking me when I was scolding and disciplining one of the kids. This happened several times and always under the same circumstances.

I thought it was a nice story as well. I would love to take this little boy home, it breaks my heart to think of babies living in that kind of conditions.

Yeah, but did he have ten buddies he hung out with?

Personalities of cats vary widely. That’s why Rag Dolls are so expensive, they have predictably sweet tempers and make for good companions. I think my older cat has some rag doll in him.

Maybe. But my three cats, let me tell you, the minute they get hungry they start tasting my fingers and staring at me in a very meaningful way.

Where I live there are 3 to 4 cats (I think they’re feral)who pal around at night all the time. I’ve tried to get closer to them to determine their dispostion, but they run away..together.
