The Marines’ absence of “regular” fanfare of cheering and clapping? And why exactly would they start cheering for a lefty anti-military illegal alien president? The nerve of Hussein to ruin their Christmas dinner.

As Obama entered the room, it was absent of the regular fanfare of cheering and clapping. The diners were polite, staying seated at their respective tables and waited for the president-elect to come to them to stand up.

He's gonna screw them. Why should they go nuts when he shows up?

I left the military in 1999, largely because of CLinton.

I expect many more to similarly leave because of Obama.

Lets consider the scenario of Sarah Palin getting the same reception and how ABC would have reported the event:

Gov Sarah Palin today received a cold shoulder from Marines and their families in Hawaii when she attempted to surprise them at Christmas dinner. Their reaction was decidedly cold as they did not clap or show any other outward sign of recognition until she approached each table where she received a cold but polite welcome..........

Now, consider this episode and compare it to President Bush’s Thanksgiving dinner entrance in Iraq some years ago where he brought down the house at a military dining facility when he brought in the turkey. The affection and loyalty shown to Bush contrasts sharply with the disdain and comtempt shown for the next President.

I dont think I have ever heard of a President or President-Elect getting this sort of reaction from uniformed military personnel. And ABC calls it “polite.” I call it a polite way of telling Obama to go to hell and get the ..... away from their Christmas dinner.

Grunts might not always be smart, but they can smell BS a mile away.

At present, Obama has no authority. He isn’t the President, and he also has resigned as a US Senator.

His associates have already announced most of his proposed cabinet and entourage, and most of them are Clinton appointees, or anti-American socialists.

The Marines stationed in Hawaii also have had enough experience in Oahu to taste racism first hand from Hawaiians, and probably just don’t like being placed in an awkward situation on XMAS day when they aren’t at home but are on active duty.

Until he takes the oath of office, they have more rank than he does.

" .. staying seated at their respective tables .. "

One of our young warriors, having returned from his third tour, and on his way to LeJune to be become a machine gunner instructor was in church Sunday .. brilliant in his dress blues.

I approached him after church, aside, and asked ..

"Danny .. the way you guys have been treated an' all .. what's going on, the election an' ... "

"We don't like it."

Yeah, I know, but the general attitude of ..."

Serious eyes, signaling ..

"No one likes it"

"Good t'see ya' again, Dan"

Smiles, firm handshake.

Sleep well folks .. we got some Marines on guard.

This (civilian) understands completely, the profound and complete distrust on this board, of our new Commander in Chief. He’s hiding everything most reasonable people wish he would voluntarily show us, and his friends have been a bunch of terrorists and marxists.

There are a lot of reasons to be skeptical.

But there’s one thing about Obama. He hasn’t, said he “loathes” our military.

It’s just possible, as he learns more about the capabilities and the people, most of us never hear about, he will reach an epiphany - and realize those capabilities an those people aren’t “theirs”.

They’re “ours”...

It’s possible.

This poster would sure like to see evidence that’s what’s happening.

How about it, Mr. President?

Show us you are a Patriot.

Show us.

Why would they welcome someone who gave encouragement to our enemies,,,

and "AID-AND-COMFORT" to our enemies during time of war with his incessant calls for a pull-out before the job was done??

That very encouragement to our enemies helped prolong the war--and likely cost American lives.

The military will never respect a communist president. I would never send my sons to fight under this guy, sorry. He’d probably force them to join the UN Army.

Stupid ABC News! There was no "regular fanfare of cheering and clapping" because Obama doesn't rate any. Obama didn't belong there. "President-elect" is a status, not an office nor a title. Obama holds no office nor any military rank. He is a civilian. He hasn't even proven he is a citizen. And he intruded on our servicemen's Christmas dinner!

Our servicemen behaved properly and politely...far more so than Obama's boorish behavior warranted. A real "press" would know and report this instead of behaving like cheerleaders.
