“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”
-Albert Einstein
After reading Cormac McCarthy’s The Road, I don’t think I want to survive a nuclear apocalypse.

Nope, I’m too close to downtown St. Louis - oh well, when it’s my time, it’s my time and I really don’t care when that is or how it happens. :)

According to the map, if Seattle were nuked my place would survive everything except the 50 megaton “Tsar Bomba” and an asteroid impact.

I nuked Atlanta and survived everything except the Asteroid impact, but that cleared all of the US.

The map is of Japan. How do I get a map of America?

You have to chose your city in the “search box”. Then pick a weapon. Nuke it.

I searched for Los Angeles. Aimed at West Hollywood [which it richly deserves] and I barely survived.

I’m good with a hit on Detroit (if the wind is blowing east)

I aimed one at Nashville and except for the asteroid impact, I’m in pretty good shape. If an astoroid hit in the mid to eastern part of the US, Alaska would survive.

Good morning. I've seen a similar website. Basically, the same results...
A 1.2 megaton thermonuclear weapon, ground detonation on Mac Dill AFB, and we "barely survived." Don't know if that's a good thing or not...and we are pretty well prepared.

I nuked ‘Frisco over and over.
Damn, that felt good.
To: martin_fierro
I love saying “Frisco” too. Just using the word drives those pretentious snobs over the edge.

Kiloton weapons... no problem. Megaton weapons... I got problems.
