Merry Christmas from the Somali Pirates

Ahmadinejad was going to give a Merry Christmas broadcast on British Television Channel 4, and my first reaction was a good laugh. But the critics to this had a good point; I mean what if billionaire air head George Soros sponsored a televised Merry Christmas greetings and message from Charles Manson on MSNBC? That would be shocking, right?

I mean think about it. Imagine a Merry Christmas broadcast aired on CNN from Senate Majority leader Harry Reid?

Well, I suppose that wouldn’t be “shocking”. But it would be disgusting.

I mean Harry Reid’s long drawn old face is as worse as the Ahmadifreakazoid.

And then we have to listen to the idiots among the Obama “core constituency” who want to compare the Pope’s Christmas greeting being televised on some channels to Ahmadinejad’s Christmas greeting. Do we even have to give such morons the time of day?

The thing is, if the Jew hating Iranian dictator is going to get on T.V. and wish us all a Merry Christmas along with some perspective on religion and what’s best for the children and such, pretty soon everyone is going to want to get in on the act. And money buys the time. Pay to play.

Imagine, from a helicopter view looking down from the sky, we see the image of a robed Arab with attire beautifully blowing in the wind and walking through the desolate tract – he looks up at us and with a handsome smile waves. A voice in the background is saying “There is no snow in our land.” Then we see Christmas lights being strung on an oil rig by an Indonesian – “But we want to tell America . . . ” says the voice. A split screen, on the left a happy smiling man in Western clothes pumping gas, and on the right screen we see cutie-pie little Arab looking kids, the boys holding toy cars, the girls in little burkahs (not holding toy cars because it’s illegal for women to drive) holding mouse soft toys, they are jumping up and down happily – “We provide the world the energy, and we wish our friends . . . “ on the bottom of the screen it now reads ‘From the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC)’ – suddenly a smiling face of Venezuela’s socialist tyrant Hugo Chávez – “Merry Christmas” …

Or how about, marching little North Korean toy soldiers jack booting to the song of Babes in Toy Land, now we see Kim Jong Il waving them and at the bottom of the screen a written quote appears, ‘Religion is the opiate of the people – Karl Marx’. Then the scene shifts to Kim Jong dancing with Madeline Albrighta and a voice says “But the human heart dances”, and then we cut back to Kim Jong smiling and holding children bouncing on his lap and a voice says “President Kim Jong Il wishes everyone best wishes during the Holidays” and then Kim says something in Korean which English subtitle, ‘Can’t we all just get along?’ …

How about a Merry Christmas greeting from Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich?

Some are comparing Ahmadinejad giving a televised Christmas greeting to England to Adolf Hitler giving Christmas Greetings. Imagine Chancellor Hitler sitting with some little German girls dressed “old style”, Hitler sitting on a big ol’ comfy chair, Christmas tree behind him, he is handing one of the girls a toy tank, and there is a radio announcer stating that he is with Hitler at this very moment, and he is giving presents to the children. And we are being told by the radio announcer that Chancellor Hitler says that “while life is struggle, it is because of this struggle of the fittest that our children are so important … and from their blood to Germany, and from Germany to the England, Mr. Hitler wishes you all a very Merry Christmas” …

I mean, sort of the same thing, right?

You know, 2009 is going to be a very strange year.

By the way, before the year is done I wonder how many times I am going to have to be told how “cute Obama’s children are” … spare me! Before the whole world goes postal.
