I support that sentiment - love is better than war, and making love is better than making war -- while granting that at various times both are necessary.

But to call this gathering -- the coming together of 250 people in an orgy -- a "powerful and highly relevant statement", is inaccurate. It might be noisy, but noise is not power. And it might be newsworthy, but that doesn't make it relevant.

It is simply going to produce a mess that somebody has to clean up.
