The difference between this era and that of the Depression is that we now have more access to information than they did back in the day. Granted, liberals still control much of the media, so it is still a battle to get the truth out to the masses. But I don't believe that Americans today will have the patience that was displayed during the Depression. We will not be as easily duped by President Soetero as Depression-era Americans were propagandized by FDR.

We live in an age of instant information populated by people who demand instant gratification. So on one front, this bodes well for the Republican contender -- whoever that may be -- in 2012.
