What happens when a cat gets in my way



I was doing about 65, cat leapt out and I barely clipped it in the jaw. No damage to the car except an almost imperceptible dent on the bumper.

A rule to live by: hit it, don't swerve.

Whatever jumps out in front of your car will do less damage than whatever it is you hit when you swerve. Cats, dogs, many deer weigh less than 100 pounds. A tree or another car weighs a lot more.

Either that’s one big cat, or you got tiny shoes. Is that a puma or something?
