Don’t feel bad. I have an in ground water treatment system, instead of a septic or sewer. It has eight “leech” lines that run in an “L” shape down my side yard and over to the front yard. I’ve never had to water my lawn.
That said, you can imagine the ambrosia in the grass. My dogs love it. LOL
I remember my step-mother chasing her ancient Siamese cat, Pandora, around the living room, in order to "remove" the tinsel from her southern end while the cat was north-bound! I kid you not, the cat's rear end looked like a party favor!

Merry Christmas to all........
Sweeet!
Merry Christmas.
Grapes and onions will destroy your pets kidneys.
That sounds like a cheerful home.
My Girls got new Kong’s for Christmas.
I had them wrapped in tissue paper with a single short piece of ribbon.
Solitare liberated hers from the table and shredded the paper..She unwraps really well.
I had to help Jackie into hers.
My little guy has performed similar tricks.
One time was otter poop on the rocks. 3 baths and a week later I soulc still smell fish.
Another time was a sea lion carcass washed up on the beach. It was fine until the dog broke the surface (I wouldn’t call it skin at that point) and let the stuff inside ooze out, then did the famous (infamous?) rolling on its back to disguise its scent.
I learned of the deed by smell...
My eyes still water with that memory.
I forgot, he also consumed a whole large chocolate muffin when 12 weeks old. No harm, but I think he got lucky.
Keep your critters safe. It’s our promise: they give us their all, we look after them.
