So why get a potentially dangerous animal when so many other breeds can provide wonderful companionship?Because when you want to protect a meth lab, only the best will do?

How many more times does this have to happen before pit bulls are banned in residential neighborhoods. Oh yea, I forgot, they are no more vicious than a labrador.

Sometimes I wonder if the MSM doesn't call "pitbull" to any dog who attacks a human? Sometimes I wonder if pit bull lovers will ever run out of excuses for these evil dogs.

Have you ever seen one of those hairless chihuahuas? Ye gods, those little things are ugly, about as bad as hairless cats.

The good news seems to be tghat it was the owner who got killed and not some innocent neighbor... The article said they didn't know the relationship of the dead man to the owner of the dogs. Further, that the owner signed the dogs over to the human society.

Come on! Ain’t you quick drawing conclusions? I am not a pitbull lover, I don’t even own a pitbull. However, I wonder how much of this is a media fabrication: if a dog attacks a man, and the breed of the dog is not known, it automatically becomes a pit bull. At least that’s the impression you get from the news. Ever seen pics of the dogs? Some are big dogs, some are small. Some have flat noses, some have long ones. Some have long tails, others have short ones... You get the idea!

They slap and pull hair, too.

However, I wonder how much of this is a media fabrication...The Mods won't let us post pictures of what you wonder is a "media fabrication." But you can Google it for yourself.
Search under the words "pitbull victim" and "pitbull mauling".
The people that have suffered horribly from these "lovable, my dog would never hurt anyone" beasts are no fabrication.

It wasn’t the owner; it was a friend of the family.

The article also states there were 9 puppies at the house. Given the adult dogs were male and female, could this have been a puppy mill?
