Efforts to eradicate religious teaching in schools seem to be making little headway in Germany.
Im sure Barry Lynn would sympathize with the problems encountered by Nazi bureaucrats in their efforts to sanitize the public schools.
This post includes a photo unrelated to the article. If I was a member of New Jersey game I would not feel particularly protected if I saw these members of the Fish and Game Protective Association of Trenton bearing down on me. The picture quality is poor but dont a couple of those guys have double-barreled shotguns? Maybe they are loaded with deer slugs.
There’s no better way for me to protect a duck or goose than to store it in my stomach. Then I know where it is ALL THE TIME.
It’s interesting that modern liberalism has advanced so much further to remove religion from the public than did the nazis.
Many of these nazi directives sound like today’s school board communiques.
Which came first, the Nazi’s or the ACLU?
So, the PC Nazi’s (multicultural Communists really) in America are trying to stifle Christmas today. The similarities are striking.
ACLU - 1919
Nazi Party - 1920
Yes they are.

Nazis Give Out Instructions to Celebrate The Germanic 'Yule' Instead of Christmas
By The Associated Press
BERLIN, Dec. 17. Instructions on how to celebrate Christmas in an acceptable Nazi fashion have gone forth from various cultural departments of the National Socialist regime. Emphasis is laid on the principle that observance of Yuletide is an ancient Germanic custom and should be followed as such.
"Under National Socialism," one order observes, "Yule has regained its ancient traditional character of Winter solstice rejoicings. "Our Germanic forefathers celebrated Yule, which is older than Christ and which Christendom borrowed from the Germanic prototype."
In several cities members of girls' Hitler organizations have indicated that they will sing no more Christmas carols. Other orders are to the effect that the place for religious Christmas exercises is in church and must "on no account be introduced into community celebrations."
Christmas plays must not be performed in schools. Instead, reversion to the old custom of presenting dramatic versions of ancient legends bearing on the battle between light and darkness, good and evil, is recommended, with full allowance for old local customs.
Christmas trees, however, are as popular as ever.
The orthodox Christian view toward Christmas is retained by Bishop Theodore Heckel, who was appointed in 1984 to have charge of "The Church Foreign Affairs Department."
In a Christmas message sent today, on behalf of the home church, to Evangelical communities abroad, he said:
"The message of the Gospel must always stand in the midst of strife."
"After one year of war perils avoided, it behooves Christians of all the world to kneel by the manger and render thanks, but also to pray for strength to continue peace work already begun."
Efforts to eradicate religious teaching in schools seem to be making little headway in Germany. Only about 15 per cent of Protestant teachers have responded to the Nazi teachers unions' demand for elimination of religious classes.
The rest said that they found parents strongly opposed to dropping religious education. Even several Provincial Governors have sided with the parents.
A voice in favor of religious education, but not by the churches, was raised by Education Minister Bernhard Rust. In a circular to school authorities he declared that religious education is as much a Nazi service as any other branch of instruction.
I just linked this clipping to another thread discussing the true date of Christ’s birth...puts an interesting and removed perspective on the debate about it being instituted to supplant a pagan holiday...
The second picture (the hunters) made me lol. Do you *ever* think we'll see a picture of a bunch of happy guys with guns in a newspaper ever again? In New Jersey no less!
As Obama drags us to the left, people will act amazed that we have new laws about what we eat, what we drive, what lightbulbs we must use, the ammo with serial numbers, what you are allowed to say or think, etc, etc. After 100 years of socialism and communism, people still don't get it.
Interesting that the teachers union wanted to remove religion and Christmas from schools in Nazi Germany 70 years ago.
Some things never change - one principal driver listed herein for the social “reform” of suppressing religious education was the Nazi Teachers Union. They were evidently less successful in that regard than are our own. Progressives may or may not all be Nazis under the surface but Nazis were certainly progressives.
This sentence is wrong. It should be 1934, not 1984. If the Bishop was appointed in 12984, he'd be a time traveler, given the byline of the story in the clipping!
You’re right.
OmniPage Pro thought the “3” was an “8”.
At least you can blame the software!
When the hell is 12984???? ;-)
I saw your post about the kid penalized for mentioning Jesus in an assignment and thought you might be interested in reading about public school officials in another era.
Looks like more shotguns than rifles from what can be readily identified.
Just shows that the ACLU is carrying forward the Nazi agenda.
