Actors need not be alive anymore thanks to CGI. I don't know if that's the case here, but it didn't stop Olivier from a key role in 2004's "Sky Captain," (which is a quirky movie I really liked)...
Weird. Anne Bancroft died in 2005, I think.
She did, this was her last job.
Of course voices are recorded in advance of other production...
She did and this was her last acting performance even though it was just voice.
