You, too, would be "devastated" if the cops came up with evidence that implicated you as an accessory after the fact in a vile murder committed by your daughter.
And, I should add, guilt. I've read elsewhere that there's some evidence that Casey and the grandmother had a huge fight the day Casey obstensibly murdered that little girl. If true, the grandmother ought to go to jail for obstruction and withholding evidence, IMO.
I still don’t understand how the grandparents were satisfied with the babysitter story. If Casey had been living with them, even if part-time, how could they accept the baby being with a babysitter for such a long period of time, especially a babysitter no one knew but Casey? No one else knew the sitter, had her number, etc.?
I don’t know what the extent of their involvement is, but they did or know something.
Guess they didn’t know their daughter was a sociopath...
Disgusting, disgusting girl that Casey.
This from a December 12, 2008 story and titled,

“Casey was officially charged for first-degree murder Oct. 14. She has pleaded not guilty to charges ranging from first-degree murder to lying to investigators. She faces life in prison if convicted.”

Maybe your thinking is correct. Perhaps after the child is officially identified they will change it from life to the death penalty.
They knew, and what’s more, they told others prior to the Caylee disappearance........
Casey told everyone she was working at Universal Studios, when she hadn’t worked there for years though.
