This is a new video just released yesterday by the rock band Candlebox...they were huge in the mid-1990s...they have a new record out and this is the second single from it called "Miss You"...a great and touching tribute to all of our armed forces fighting now and in the past.
Give it a watch and pass it on to those you who would appreciate it...ditto to troops overseas.

Kevin Martin (lead singer) explains the reason for the video...his father was a WW2 Vet who stormed the beaches of Normandy...he passed away 4 years ago.

Above is the video of him explaining the song
Trying my damndest not to bawl my eyes out Ping
they’ve been doing commercials on AFN (Armed Forces Network) tv, thanking the troops. real nice.
That’s actually a pretty cool song. A little bit of a departure from their old hair band stuff.
I was never much a fan of Candlebox’s music...but I gotta give them major kudos for this.
Candlebox is awesome. I liked them in the 90s when I was in college.
I echo your sentiments.
I actually saw these guys live in 1994. They were the opening act for Rush (of all things) on the Counterparts tour.
I like where her heart is however I don’t care for her liberal lovefest she has with everything else in her life.
Saw that tour a bunch of times as well. Loved it when they would play a few bars of a Rush tune in their show. Kevin Martin would always say something like “I know you guys really want Rush out here...we appreciate you hangin in there..they will be out in a bit...so have mercy on us..thanks”
I saw Rush on that tour too! I saw them in Indianapolis, and luckily (for a Les Claypool fanboy like me, anyway) Primus was the opening act on that leg of the tour. They did a cover of Master of Puppets during the set that was just flat out *amazing*.
Ah, good times...
So many who serve of free will knowing they will be seperated from their loved ones often for long periods of time. Some of America’s finest.
I was around and sober during those days but I never heard of 'em.......
OK..well here are their hits then...
