Obama with supporter Rev Jesse Jackson sr, whose son is National Chairman of Obama's campaign. Jackson Sr's daughter Santita and Michelle Obama grew up together and are "tight friends." She is the godmother to one of the Obama kids. During Jesse Jackson sr's failed 1984 run for the White House, Jackson Sr also had a Pastor Disaster when Jackson Sr refused to condemn his Minister Farrakhan's anti-semitic remarks.
