...even though I didn’t always agree with the politics I thought Gov. King was a fine governor- just as you said he always thought about the state and the people when making decisions- not himself.

Unlike our current governor.

BTW, I don't recall but seeing his wife Barbara mentioned or seen but very few times during the whole of Richardson's tenure. Either she really shies from attention or he wants all of it himself.

The other day I was talking to a Texan and he wanted to know what experience we had with Richardson as governor and if I thought he would be a good commerce secretary- hah- I told him Richardson sure knew how to spend money, other than that I am not sure what he is good at.

Come to think of it, you’re right about his wife- talk about low profile.
