You forgot the allegation that Obama traveled to Afghanistan on an Indonesian Passport — which at least tacitly acknowledged his Indonesian citizenship. This would possibly circumvent the Supreme Court decision that parents cannot take away US citizenship, because this was an action taken by him as an adult.

Good to know as I remember it as being fairly conservative and was going to renew after a few years off.

“The fact that no neighbor or family friend in Hawaii knows anything about this birth or remembers anything...is puzzling”

That’s because Barry was born in Mombasa, Kenya. His family there remebers it well.

It’s amazing how people resist accepting the obvious.

Bingo! The mysterious empty suit from parts unknown wants to know all of all but refuses to show us who he is. A “Usurper” for sure and I pray he is exposed as such for the sake of our Country.

National Geographic has always been elitist, eugenicist, and leftist. One of the leftist skeletons in their closet is a 1938 issue that was scandalously pro-National Socialist.

It would be impossible. A child born on American soil is a US citizen regardless of the status of his parents. This is a waste of time and money.

I am about the same age as Obama, my parents are dead. I am the oldest. I have no living Aunts or Uncles. Except for a birth certificate which many on this forum can not accept apparently, I could furnish no proof. Give me a break. You all need to accept the fact that Obama won and move on.

A child can not renounce his citizenship nor can his parents renounce his citizenship. Do any of you understand the law in this matter?

Ain’t it though! My stepdaughter still steadfastly refuses to believe that O.J. killed anybody. I consider this willful blindness as it is obvious that either he was the killer or there had to be the most massive police conspiracy to frame him that ever has existed anywhere. I could sooner believe that aliens from the planet Shukalaka came to Earth and committed the murders than I could believe the frameup story.
If anyone was EVER proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt O.J. was but the jury let him off anyway. I don’t know how those jurors have slept a night since then.

I believe he was using the term “Readers Digest Version” as a way of identifying what he has compiled, since they usually did a condensed version of almost everything they printed. This is not something in Readers Digest in other words.

Well, I do.

Apparently few of the other posters do.

They keep discussing his possible Indonesian citizenship as if it is relevant. It’s not. Neither is his possible British and/or Kenyan dual citizenship that terminated on his 21st birthday.

BTW, Winston Churchill gave a speech to Congress in which he referenced his American mother. He pointed out that if he’d chosen to move to America shortly after his majority, he might have made it to Congress or the White House on his own, not as a guest. By the law, he was quite possibly right. And he was born in UK.

A few points:

The dollar amounts about lawyers hired to fight these cases is false. Obama, the Obama campaign, nor anyone working for Obama has ever spent One dollar or hired one lawyer to fight this case.

Why?

Leo’s case, like most of these are filled against state secretaries of state, state election boards, electors, the FEC etc. Each of those government bodies or officials sent a government official to court, paid for by NJ or Cali or Conn. Berg’s case is the only one filed against Obama directly. Obama never even responded to the case at any level. Don’t believe me, look at each court records, including the one on the SC docket. No paper was ever filed on Obama’s behalf in the Berg case, only Berg’s.

Why? The same reason Bush and Cheney never responded to any of Berg’s cases’ against them (he has sued them 4 times; twice to claim they were un-elected but selected by the SC in 2000 and thus ineligible, and twice to prove they were responsible for 9-11. Sick, I know, but Berg is a professional conspiracy lawyer.)

The only reason Leo’s case has gotten so far is because he has not included any of these internet rumors. H has worked HARD to keep them away from his case. Read his website and legal papers.

Obama has already said that there is something about his birth certificate that is embarrassing. He is thus a target for blackmail. Do you think its a good idea to have someone in the White House who is being blackmailed? I don’t.

I don’t know what you mean? I have not heard this. Anyway, what difference does it make? He won; He will be sworn in on January 20th. It’s over.

It is hard to believe that Obama will be denied even if the fine print turns out to say he shouldn't be eligible. But it is interesting, for someone from a family of doctors and lawyers who chose the medical path, to read all the points made by those more knowledgeable on the law. Speculation can be fun so long as one doesn't become overly emotionally invested in long shots.

Your post, citing supporting USSC case law, that there is no way under US law to revoke US citizenship of a minor, is the first I've seen to make that point. I gather it can be revoked after reaching one's majority, which I presume has been 18 since the passage of 26th amendment on 7/7/1971 when Obama wasn't quite 10 years old. The logical next question, for those who don't already know, is how does an US adult revoke their citizenship. I think Obama graduated HS spring of 1979 at age still 17 and turned 18 that August, I presume just before starting college at Occidental. If he registered there then, or at Columbia two years later, as a foreign student as some have speculated, would that suffice to revoke his citizenship or would something more have been needed? If yes then the blocked school records are important; if no then they are irrelevant, at least to this issue.

US citizenship can be renounced after the age of 14 (with strict regulations) revocably after the age of 18. Or after the age of 18 it can be renounced irrevocably.

It must be done in a sworn, notarized ceremony before a US consular official in another country. Can’t do it here.

It doesn’t happen accidentally. The process is a lot like the “informed consent” procedure for surgery. You don’t get the surgery (or the renunciation) without going thru the whole process. You can’t claim you didn’t know what you were doing.

Obama could have registered as a foreign student. Would have been odd for a guy who lived from 10 to 17 or 18 in HI, but I suppose he could have done it. This might constitute fraud against the school’s admission policy, but it would have zero effect on his citizenship status.

Thanks! One of the more annoying things since the Clintons arrived is the increased difficulty in preemptively ruling out conspiracy theories. The only such longshot that came home pre-Clinton was that Nixon was actually insecure and paranoid enough to think he needed Watergate. Common sense worked fairly well. So much nonsensical stuff has been proven true since Clinton that I can't always trust my once reliable BS meter. It's nice to rule out some even without bagging the “great white vault copy.” The Ahabs amongst the truthers can keep chasing that. We should provide them no more support than to make sure the "native american" exception to the general whaling ban remains in place. The rest of us can stop chasing those holes in his virtual legend that can't block his ascension and instead concentrate on chasing the real holes in the real record he'll now be forced to create. And thus make 2010 repeat 1994 and 2012 repeat 1980.

Doesn’t really matter to me. I subscribed to Reader’s Digest for over 30 years. Then they started leaning left and I stopped subscribing.
