I've been looking at these cool little remote-control toy helicopters for my 12 year old son, but does anyone have any experience with ones to get OR ones to avoid?
I'm worried about getting one that only flies for 5 minutes before it needs re-charging, or breaks sooner than that, or is underpowered etc. etc.
Any insight is much appreciated!

MicroFly Tiny R/C Hovering UFO
With a diameter not much larger than a silver dollar and a single propeller on the bottom, the MicroFly somehow manages to hover in the air as it spins and flashes its blue LED. This is the smallest R/C flying toy ever made.
Cyber Surfer R/C Spaceboard
The Cyber Surfer R/C Spaceboard uses two ducted fans and a solid state accelerometer to hover off the ground and "surf" across the room. One of the most unique R/C helicopter toys available

MX-1 World's Smallest R/C Copter
We thought we had seen small RC helicopters until we were flabbergasted by a copter so tiny it actually fits inside its own remote. The MX-1 is a sharp looking little copter and it has a redesigned remote with smooth slider like controls. Official Silverlit Product!
Thanks, that’s very informative. Some VERY cool stuff that I haven’t seen in stores around here!
Thanks again to everyone!
Yep. You know whats odd, I just noticed it was the USS Independence, CV 62.
I served aboard her in 1981. I actually have the cruise book from 1980-1981 sitting here next to my desk.
