O.J. should hit his knees and thank God tonight because he received the absolute minimum on ALL counts.
And his attorneys admitted so. Because he could have received as much as 50-60 years and that was from HIS attorneys!

Surprised you are one of the few who didnt hear the tape of him entering that hotel room. I might have heard it a couple of years ago. The OJ story just isn't something I pay that much attention to. No one here would be celebrating this if they didn't think he was guilty of murder however long ago that was. I'd rather see Barney Frank in an orange jump suit if it's okay with you.

He will never get out of jail alive. At least we can hope. Justice at long last.

Pulling on flame retardent clothing here. OK, isnt this his first Felony conviction?
When weapons are involved in the commission of a crime, the whole legal landscape changes.

I liked how his lawyer asked for bail....hahaha.. we were laughing around the office that the White Bronco was around back.. Yeah, he's no flight risk...lol
This country is just a little better today with this POS behind bars. He could very well die in prison before ever being paroled.

BTW, why is this in general chat?

I hope he dies in there. (God forgive me.)

It is, indeed, a mystery as to why USC fans no longer wear jerseys with the number 32—which belonged to Jim Sears, the star running back who shone in the Trojans’ 14-12 win over uCLA in 1952.

Hmmm, I wonder why this isn’t in sidebar....?

I had some trouble myself following the sentencing, as to which were concurrent and which were consecutive.
I guessed, at the beginning of the broadcast, he would get 30 years. The reports now are that 33 is the maximum and 9 the minimum.

You are right.
On CNN Rick Sanchez was trying to get John Ford (?) of TruTV to say that OJ was convicted and sentenced on basis of the 1995 fiasco. Ford strongly disagreed, said it was purely on his action in LV and it was a fair trial and sentence.
BTW, somebody said that Geraldo is fretting that OJ is going to prison.

To me, OJ’s expression while the judge was talking pre-sentence was “so what.” His belief is and always has been he’s never done anything wrong, either this time or 14 years ago.

Didnt you see all the deputies pouring out when the presser started - bunch of thugs Excuse me? You're saying the sheriff's deputies are thugs? I don't think so.
When Goldman gave his short statement outside after the sentencing, I saw a black civilian dude in a ballcap standing a short distance behind him, shaking his head. I figured he was there to disrupt and worried he would do something, but the deputies stepped in and got him out of the way. I believe he was shouting something as he was moved/removed.
So, what was your point?

Hey, Ron Goldman. Was your son was a coke whore? Ron Goldman is dead. He was killed along with Nicole Brown Simpson in June of 1994. Fred Goldman is Ron's father. Were you referring Fred Goldman? And would you ask him that question to his face?

You are correct! Also, I noticed while viewing the sentencing today how much lighter skinned OJ appears now.
Of course! He appeared darker before because he was getting a tan out on the golf course! Being locked up for 64 days shows how pale he is.
