An 82-year-old Italian man who took a Viagra pill scared his wife so much she called the police.
Giovanni di Stefano, from Palermo, was so excited his wife thought he would have a heart attack and dialled 999.
"The police didn't do anything but their presence had the desired effect. He lost interest in his love life pretty quickly," said a family friend.
Terrified wife Carla, 69, told police: "He is 82-years-old and so I thought so much love could have lethal consequences."

Was he chasing her around the place?
I'd love to see what the cops wrote in their report about this 911 call:):) Or be a fly on the wall at the station:)
Cops need laughs too.

I’ve heard they’re giving Viagra to little old men in nursing homes now, so that they don’t accidentally roll out of bed...

Could have - as in possible but not guaranteed.
Degree of competitiveness increases chance of lethality.

If you read further, they live in Palermo, Sicily. The guy might have wanted to get a jump on things before the Med gets cold in 2 months:) Yes, people have to wear clothes there. And it snows from Spain to Greece.

Why do you have the Viagra car beating the UPS car? Where’s the Fed-Ex car? Fed-Ex must be in front. On city streets or freeways, just follow them if you want to get someplace real fast. Tractor-trailers, little trucks, whatever. What speed limit? Does one exist? And I think their AC are going above 40K feet across the oceans. Military air space. Who cares?

Wow, this thread is weird.
And before you all ask why I clicked on the link, it was because it said, “Viagra.”
I know. I'm ashamed. But you all did it, too.

You have to be joking. The best orange and lemon liquors are from there. And the best olive groves. If nobody wants to stick around and care for those things, I'll go. It's ripe for investment. It's an Island too. Get there by ferry or plane. I think Sealink has a route from Majorca to Palermo.
Those ferrys are great big seagoing ships about the size of destroyers with accomodations for food, entertainment, etc. And lots of rooms like a hotel. In Shevenhagen, we asked "Is this what you call a ferry to cross the English Channel?" Yep. "Is this ship going to Dover, England and stop there?" Yep. Wow!
