An anti-tax activist from upstate New York who is questioning whether President-elect Barack Obama is a "natural born citizen" eligible for the nation's top job said Tuesday that his non-profit group spent "tens of thousands of dollars" to get his message across in ads in the Chicago Tribune this week.

An "anti-tax activist" ... ? That's the best ad-hominem the author could come up with to preface this article? Pathetic on two accounts : first for opening an article with a bias, and second for failing to realize that *everyone* who complains about the chunk the Fed takes out of their paycheck is an "anti-tax activist". I qualify. Does anyone here not qualify?

To prevent this from mushrooming into a crisis, Obama should release his Birth Certificate from the Vault.

Omigod, omigod... this is so classic.

" A Tribune advertising spokesman said the newspaper has standards for what ads it will accept and that the ad met those standards."

When I visited the page, they had a video ad for one of the "Jackass" movies running, depicting such high quality advertising as getting kicked in the balls, blowing a high pressure hose up someone's backside, tying off the make genitalia to a rocket, and other "high standard" material.

I laughed my arse off.
