NEW YORK (Dec. 1) - In the past year, 30 percent of U.S. high school students have stolen from a store and 64 percent have cheated on a test, according to a new, large-scale survey suggesting that Americans are too apathetic about ethical standards. Educators reacting to the findings questioned any suggestion that today's young people are less honest than previous generations, but several agreed that intensified pressures are prompting many students to cut corners.

Come-on People!
We obviously have to give these students a government GPA bailout!
If we don’t then the Educational Economy will crumble!

Of course they cheat more, they are infused with less morals from their parents.....

Do as I say and not as I do....

As a former Scoutmaster I saw it all the time.....

Kid's just emulate their parents...they watch you PEOPLE!!!!
Then they copy....

Don't do drugs but Daddy's drunk and Mommas sleeping with Prince Valium....

Don't steal, but did you see the clerk make a mistake and give me an extra $20 in change back, WooHoo it's free!

The kid's are microcosms of us.....

Morality is clearly out of fashion for many people.

This will also correspond to an increase in corruption. As if it can really get worse than it is now.

I read this in my newspaper and was amazed.

When I was a teenager and the other kids said, “lets go do such and such”, I refrained because I knew it was wrong and feared disappointing my parents.

It’s the parents fault.

As I said, it’s the parents who give them their basic values.
