What do you suppose the wording is on those letters...? All I can make out is...OY on the bar of the “T”.

I saw that movie when it was released, in the theater. But I think it was early ‘60s, not the ‘50s.

You're in luck! This place still exists. We go there every summer. If you are ever in upper Michigan you should stop in...just get there early because they sometimes sell out.(no joke)

And, yes, they still show those cheesy intermission commercials and the lines for the bathroom at that time will have you wetting your pants. Have Fun!

Interestingly, there is a “Matrix”-like “bullet time” sequence where Tom Poston slows down and then dodges a fired bullet.

Yeah, I noticed that...there was also an “Outer Limits” episode as well where aliens were able to “shut off” (or massively slow down) local time, and I recall a scene where one of them was able to observe, then flick away a bullet fired at them.

If you would like to be added or dropped from the Michigan ping list, please freepmail me.
Nothing wrong with starting the work week out on a light note. I watched all ten minutes, most of which are standard fare. The first four minutes are priceless. Enjoy!
