That’s why they lost out on football. Leach won’t be there much longer and TTech will be gone, gone, gone....
John 3:16
I believe tey can. Remember two years ago when there was talk of having Ohio State play Michigan in a re-match in the BCS Championship game.
I apologize you are correct, but Tech still scored 28 unanswered points after the final 7 scored by Baylor in the 3rd.
In a three way tie head to head means little. In a two way tie it would mean everything.
Ah yes, okay. I was wrong. Hadda happen sometime. :o)
We actually heard some talk about this on tv the other night and were surprised to hear that it could happen that two from the same conference could play for the national championship.
Hmmmm....Matthew 5:48?
We lost because our players can read?
I would blame Jones for that. He knew what he was getting into.
All over a 5% ownership stake. Jimmy J. was a shrewd coach, great judge of talent, and negotiator.
Look how long Jones lived off Jimmy’s team until it just collapsed.
Duh...Both teams wear READ.
This secures Texas a BCS berth (if they had gone to KC and lost to MO, they very likely wouldn’t have gotten one).
Sooooo - your BCS teams, so far (if I’m not mistaken):
Penn State
Cincinnati
USC (with a win over UCLA)
Utah (automatic minor conference berth)
Boston College/Virginia Tech winner
Oklahoma/Missouri winner
Alabama/Florida winner
Texas (at-large)
Last two slots could go to any of these:
Alabama (if they lose to Florida)
Boise State
Ohio State
If Oklahoma or Florida lose, that should knock them out of the BCS.
I don’t think 3 teams from the same conference can get BCS bids, so that disqualifies Texas Tech (since Texas and the Big XII Champ get slots).
Is Colt’s sister’s name Kit? She is a fox.
Your team wears read? Our’s is red and black.
Gotta love a system where on field results are meaningless..................................
Florida has to leapfrog everyone if they beat the Number 1 team in the nation.
I’m going to guess that stoops loves it and brown hates it. I know Leach hates it.
People should read Barry’s autobiography before dumping all over him.
Not much. It worked out correctly this time because it can be backed up by common opponent scores and head to head and being a unique 3way tie. But it is a slippery slope.
