WKRP in Cincinnati ... For Real This Time

CINCINNATI WKRP is back on the air in Cincinnati but this time it's for real.
A low-power TV station has changed its call letters to WKRP, the same as the fictional radio station in the 1970s hit series "WKRP in Cincinnati."

I can't believe no one has done this before. There is a station in Cinc ( and was on while the series was running ) called WKRC. So, a station might have thought it was too close.

In November, 2008 Cincinnati low-power television Station WBQC changed to WKRP-CA.[10] WKRP and WKRP Cincinnati are trademarks owned by Block Broadcasting.[11] The call letters are not currently assigned to any AM or FM radio station, and any potential user would have to obtain permission from the TV station owners and the FCC.
