CU astronomer runs rings around Saturn's age
Saturn's famous rings are nearly as old as the solar system, not 100 million years old, as had been assumed, a Colorado astronomer told a gathering of the nation's top space scientists Wednesday. They didn't form during the days of the dinosaurs, but are 4.5 billion years old, University of Colorado professor and planetary scientist Larry Esposito said at the American Geophysical Union convention in San Francisco.

Yeah I just read about that last night infact- Seems the moon is still possibly producing lava- Japanse scientists are stunned and apparently trying to come up with some lame excuse to explain it away. If it turns out to be a fact, it’s goign to be just one more ‘oopsie’ for long ager scientists
