Probably true, but each day I'm thankful that Washington and the other Founding Fathers didn't throw up their hands and just "GET OVER IT".

The goal, if not able to prevent him from taking office, is to 1). hurt him so that he won't be 100% successful in implementing his socialist agenda 2). hurt the Democrats for being incompetent at vetting their candidate and corrupt at allowing him to run and also hurt their media arm so that large gains can be made against the Democrats in 2010 and 2012.

Hopefully, some or all the new pick ups will be Constitution Party candidates that will caucus with the Republicans on key issues and force the Republicans further to the right on others.
