I received today via email, the scan of a sworn declaration from a confidential witness. The hard copy will be in my possession in a few days. Neither the name nor sex of the witness will be revealed at this time. The witness is prepared to testify and should testify in the confirmation hearings of Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder.
A statement by the witness will be on YouTube in a few days with a voice that is disguised. The witness is willing to submit to a polygraph.
Senator Arlen Specter has indicated that confirmation hearings will involve a serious look at the pardon of Marc Rich. Denise Rich and several others who may have knowledge of the pardon fund must be called to testify.
But there were congressional hearings on this, Denise Rich took the fifth, Eric Holder testified, there was a grand jury brought by the US Attorney's office in Manhattan(who was mad as heck about the pardon)...and nothing.
It would seem to me, if anything, this accuses BClinton of wrongdoing, but the hearing is about Holder......
Even if the testimony is convincing, doesn't Holder just have to say “I knew nothing about any quid pro quo, and I am as shocked as anyone to hear this”.....
Unless this person can testify HOLDER knew it was a quid pro quo...then maybe you've got something...
Thanks. I don’t think I had read that one.
Denise Takes 5th on Pardon
Says she won’t sing for Congress panel
Richard Sisk - NY Daily News - February 9, 2001
Denise Rich took the Fifth yesterday and ignited a fresh controversy when she refused to answer questions from Congress over the presidential pardon of her billionaire ex-husband, Marc Rich.
Among the questions Denise Rich balked at answering was whether the fugitive financier she divorced paid her back for the $1.3 million she lavished on the campaigns of former President Bill Clinton, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) and the Democratic National Committee.
In a letter from her lawyer, Denise Rich declared her intention to invoke her Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination if she were called to testify before the House Government Reform Committee.
