I’m not a NASCAR fan, but I am wondering how the Big Three financial woes are going to affect NASCAR? Thought I heard today that Honda was withdrawing for Indy car racing.

It will affect them in a big way. The manufacturers spend a lot of money on R&D and sponsor money as well. Hendrick and many others have been very vocal about supporting the big 3.

This is a crock. When I first started taking the whole crew, I used to pay $40 per (X9 or 10). Now with the regressive recession and a few other issues, it ain’t happenin’.
Hope they enjoy it.

WCG, great pics!!!!!! Congrats to Jr! I had read that his new facial 'do' was all the talk....looks good!
What does not look good is JJ and CK in a tux....and their pit crew.....that's just not right........
They need to bring this event to Las Vegas.
Kevin Costner can't speak..........watching
Heck, they closed down the strip for a hauler parade, complete with police escort.
and New York did not want the driver parade this year.
If we shut down I-15 north so Brenden Gaughn could drive his truck to the track, imagine what this town would do if it hosted the awards ceremony....

Yeah I was surprised he couldn’t read from the prompter. He did better when he spoke of his time rith Richard Petty making a movie. Not read but from the heart.
The King is going through the history of Nascar now,
There’s been talk of moving the banquet, but the France family has been pretty steadfast in wanting to keep it in NY.
