“over generalization” or “hasty generalization” requires that there not be enough particulars to support the generalization. That is not the case, here. You are guilty of a straw man argument, since you are ignoring all the remainder of the data to focus on the one particular.

What other data? The original post cites ONE incident, then draws a conclusion about a large portion of the country based on that ONCE incident.

Please tell me what other “data” I missed from the post.
