Still no birth certificate.
What Barrack Obama has said about anything doesn’t matter at all. He could go public and say he was a citizen of the Lithuania and it wouldn’t change the fact that the relevant authorities in the state of Hawaii have said that his birth certificate is on file there — and of course Hawaii, or any other state, doesn’t keep birth certs on file of people born in a different state or country. They would run out of file space.
He Was Born In Hawaii As Certified By All The Relevant Authorities. I would venture to say that his certification of having been born in the US is superior to about 1/2 the people reading these words — since many people lose their personal copies.
I guess some "public servants" get a pass.
Thanks, Amityschild.
Ping. How ‘bout this?
Again, that's untrue. They never said they had his birth CERTIFICATE. They said they had a record of birth, but never said where that birth had occurred.
It's perfectly legal to get papers saying a child had been born. This and a legitimate U.S. birth certificate are two different things.
I really don’t understand why this is still an issue here on FR. I’ve selected a sample of people from this thread who seem to be on both sides of the issue to comment on, what I believe are the facts of the situation.
1. Barack claims to be born in Hawaii in 1961.
2. He claims to have provided an electronic version of the original birth certificate (not the original or a photocopy of the original).
3. Hawaii was a state by 1961.
4. Perhaps most importantly, the State of Hawaii has confirmed they have a birth certificate on file for him, but have prevented anyone but his immediate family from seeing it.
Now, given #2, any issues that arise that claim to show the copy BO has provided on his website is not a copy of an original because it doesn’t have the proper “seal” or because the borders along the certificate aren’t “genuine” seem to be a red herring. This is because it’s an electronic version of the original. It wasn’t claimed to be a copy of the original or the original itself, but again, an electronic version of the original, so it’s perfectly understandable that it wouldn’t bear an embossed seal, or the boarders along the certificate might not be the same as an original.
However, even beyond that, given #4, we (apparently) *know* that the State of Hawaii has a BC for a one “Barack Hussein Obama”, at the time he claims to have been born there, so, given that alone, isn’t it reasonable to assume that he was born there? I mean, what else can we go on at this point?
That he’s assumed the identity of someone named “Barack Hussein Obama” all these years? That’s the only thing left that would seem to call into question his (basic) Constitutional qualification to be president.
Unless someone can explain to me how these two issues (especially #4) aren’t germane to the issue, then I really think it’s time to let this go, before it spins wildly out of control into some kind of nutter conspiracy theory like those about 9/11, making us all look like a bunch of “right wing nuts”.
Truth ping.
Isn’t it incredible how much misinformation has been spread? I am completely blown away that so many here repeat the canards about this!
WE cant let an antiquated, pesky document like the Constituution stand in the way of the change we need.
He already believes it’s flawed. This must be another one of those little annoyances he’ll want to correct in our constitution if he gets in. Let us not stand in the way of any foreign person who would like to come in take over our nation and destroy her. How absurd it is for us to ever think of having a law to protect against such a thing.
My thoughts exactly!

I don't understand this distinction at all. A "record of birth" is not the same as a "birth certificate"?
What does this mean? That every state in the union has a "record of birth" for everyone born in every other state? IOW, why would a state have a "record of birth" for someone not born in the state?
Have you seen this yet?
So that would make Oboma a British, not an American, citizen. Hmmmm. (Duo citizenship also disqualifies him.)
Oh f-ing please. It’s not even funny anymore
I cannot believe this. So now we are supposed to say “ok”, and walk away? Even IF his citizenship were not an issue, which it is, what about the fact that he deliberately deceived the American people, by witholding information, for the specific purpose of winning an election? Do people really expect him to govern honestly? ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Let’s pray real hard for this dead thing to resurrect! :-)
Oh yeah, I loved that one. Do as I say, not as I do.
... and you need to get the mods to change the title of your thread - it is incorrect.
