I don’t have to remind anyone here how diplomatic visas are regularly abused by people from Africa and the Middle East to cover the asses of their students here against things as minor as parking tickets all the way up to serious crimes including murder. Those consular rights are routinely used to flaunt our laws and used as protection against them.
When I was a young Marine I saw Iranian students here with such visas and they could do no wrong.
Student Visas are normally given to those this country brings in, where as diplomatic visas are given to those their own country sends here, there is a huge difference between each.
