Our golden loves cooler weather.
At the end of a 2 mile walk in July, he’s pooped. In December, after 2 miles, he’s just getting warmed up, LOL.

Jake would have these snow balls on his feet. He would try to lick them off and this would only contribute to more ice...
I was planning some trout for guests coming to our Prior Lake home years ago and had 6 nice fish, about one pound each, ready to grill. I stepped inside for 20 seconds to get a beer and when I came back out, there were five fish on the platter. Jake had decided to claim his share and swallowed one of the the fish in one gulp.

Oh my...is that what I have to look forward to? My Texan Golden is soooooo going to love winter in Northern VA!
