Well, Ms. Monica went to study in London and hasn’t been heard from since. Literary agent Lucianne Goldberg, who helped break the story, has remained quiet for Lucianne Goldberg, and we’ve heard nary a peep from Linda Tripp. That is, however, until wOw tracked her down to the Christmas Sleigh store which she owns in Middleburg, VA, with her husband.
With more than 1,300 products, the C. Sleigh, according to their website, specializes in handmade or handcrafted European wares. Walking into Linda Tripp’s shop is a walk back in time!
Speaking of which, back in time it was Linda Tripp who famously taped her then-“friend” Monica Lewinsky relaying her titillating adventures with the president. Interested in hearing what Tripp had to say of the recent election (yes, she’s a week late in returning our e-mail), Tripp relayed the following thoughts: "I am so very proud that as a nation we might finally be getting it right. I believe Sen. McCain is an American hero and a deeply honorable public servant, something one seldom sees in Washington. I also believe he could have been a strong president. I suspect Linda fears the wrath of Obama/RATs gone wild. Her small business could be sunk by a few IRS investigations.

hypnotic power - It’s obvious that psychops have been long involved in the years leading up to this election. Constant repitition of phrases, Bush Derangement Syndrome, financial crisis arranged to coincide with 08 election. Magically, Obama appears 4 years ago, and is the answer. It doesn’t matter that he’s never revealed basic information about his past. It doesn’t matter that he cheated in the primaries, and then cheated in the election through voter registration fraud. Get out of the way, Joe the plumber - how dare you question The One.
Far too many are caught up into the fantasy of this messianic-fraud. Its such a relief to them after all the HATE that has consumed them. They feel *so* good about themselves and full of love. Can anyone convince them they’re wrong?

Fawn, in between my post and your answer, I have dranken the Kool Aid. Obama now, Obama forever, Obama give my children money when they lose their teeth. Obama I’ve been good so come see me at Christmas. Read me Harry Potter. Sir, may I have another? Go White Sox. Yeah, Go White Sox. Obama rules, I want to pal around with Ayers, and so help me, that dress Michelle wore the other night, where she looked like a bumblebee, that was the height of fashion.

John Goodman was hilarious. But I still felt sorry for Linda Tripp. Especially for a woman, to have a large part of the country making fun of one’s looks must have been pretty difficult to deal with.
OK, it’s cynical, but who set the Tripps up in business in expensive euro-trashy Middleburg? From gov’t employee-for-life to set-for-life? (Could be that’s the same thing). OK, OK, call me cynical, but it seems a little strange to me.
