I can’t understand how they can “take” my private property (401k)? I’ts like taking someone’s stock portfolio, 529? savings for college, cd’s (money not music).
This would be unprecedented. The Constitution prevents this type of perversion.

When I read the article, all I saw was "take" and "tax". I don't get it. Looks like I'll be moving my money out soon. I guess I could wait and see - but I don't think it's going to be a pretty sight to see what they're planning to do w/ our 401K's.

I cant understand how they can take my private property (401k)? Pardon the rueful chuckle. Since Kelo, there's no longer any such thing as 'private' property. You are owned lock, stock, and barrel by the State to be disposed of as they see fit.
The Constitution prevents this type of perversion.
The Constitution prevents nothing. "Prevention" is up to you.

They will just structure the tax system such that you must do what they say, or pay.
“The power to tax is the power to destroy” is a lesson oft-quoted by Marxists.

The Constitution prevents this type of perversion.!!!!!WRONG!!!!!!
The Constitution certainly seems to prohibit that type of "perversion", but prevent? The Constitution prevents nothing ... only force prevents bad actions.

You don't get it. “They” can do what ever they want. This government no longer follows the Constitution. Once you get away from that, there is no rule of law.
