NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) – HBO has closed a seven-figure deal for U.S. rights to an untitled Barack Obama documentary produced by actor Edward Norton.
Norton's Class 5 Films approached the Obama campaign in early 2006 about a documentary chronicling the new president elect's history in politics. Directors Amy Rice and Alicia Sams were granted extensive access to film Obama before he launched his presidential run in 2007 and have continued their shoot through his historic victory this week.
HBO, which has been pursuing rights for several months, plans to air the documentary next year.
"Senator Obama's history-making race for the White House has given our film a perfect framework to explore the pulse of the country at this vital moment in our history," said Norton, who produced the project with Stuart Blumberg and Bill Migliore.

The news IS one long Obama documentary for the last 2 years, but a documentary is definitely in order. There’s tons of things we don’t know about this guy, so it should be informative, and about forty hours long.
To be fair, a similar documentary was done of Pres. Bush.. by Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, and it was a pretty fair portrayal.

Observing their programming, apparently HBO is run by the DNC. There are numerous documentaries slanted towards libs, and ditto for the movies which are mostly crap. I’m waiting for another “Sopranos” to show up, but I guess I shouldn’t hold my breath. I’ve drawn the connection between lib-run tv channels and lousy programming.
The deification, glorification and exaltation of Obamessiah; the mortal, anti-American, anti-Semitic, Socialist, black racist with mirey feet of clay and his wife Amarosa2 will begin immediately. Glorious documentaries on the life of Obamessiah will be created. Catchy and moving songs to brain wash children, the youth and adults will be written for America's newly elected "dear leader". School curriculums on every grade level will be created and history concerning the person, life and times of Obamessiah will be re written in order to program the masses to bow down and worship at the feet of "the One", the Obamessiah. Slick mass media presentations and massive outdoor Nuremburg rallies will be held to hypnotize the throngs of adulating lemmings. Obamessiah’s Praetorian Guard National Civilian Force will march in the streets; maintain “order” and proper obeisance toward Lord Obamessiah.
All of this will be designed for one purpose and one purpose only: to control the masses and to motivate them to follow and worship the beast; Obamessiah, America's new overlord… I mean “president”.
A time of spiritual testing is upon us all. May the true God and Father of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ have mercy upon us all and may His Holy Spirit help us to remain faithful to the true and living God, may we remain faithful to Christ as Salt and Light, courageous and strong in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation. Don’t know the title but the subtitle will be “How to talk for 2+ years without saying a thing.”
