I just saw a disturbing guest on the "O'Reilly Factor." Margaret Hoover, a supposed "Republican Strategist," was blathering on about how young people "get it" about "gay marriage" and "women's reproductive rights." Proposition 8 may have passed, she argued, but the kids of her generation will overturn it. Disturbing, indeed, if she represents the future of the GOP: a quick web search will reveal that she is quite a hyped-up figure, given that her great-great-grandaddy was Herbert Hoover.
The lefties are all saying that we need to pay attention to her. Precisely the reason that she needs to be shamed out of the party. This isn't a sorority. She shouldn't have legacy privileges.
Probly looking for a job in DC.
Time to Delineate Ourselves......START the CONSERVATIVE PARTY!!
I can’t stand her. She is one of those that needs to be purged.
Nepotism always leads to inbreeding and incompetence.
Fox is garbage. Watch the football games instead (Broncos vs. Browns, Utah vs. TCU) and you will enjoy the evening much more than watching the propaganda on news channels.
Next, after gay “marriage”, some moron will demand that he be known as a child’s “mother”, or a ditz will insist on legal protection for her title as “Father”. Don’t they know that changing the words used cannot change how decent people view the reality? In fact, pushing to use force will increase our motivation to teach our kids exactly how perverse such things really are, when we might otherwise not have mentioned them at all because the topics are so bizarre.
Margaret Hoover received a B.A. in Spanish Language Literature with a minor in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College in 2001.
She worked for Bush-Cheney 04, Inc. and was the Deputy-Press Secretary to Florida Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart on Capitol Hill.
She then held a White House appointment in the Bush Administration and also served as a senior advisor to the Deputy Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security.
She's not really a conservative. She's been poisoned by the Bush admin.
She has joined David Brooks, David Frum, George Will, McCain Palin Staff, McClellan, Powell, etc.
The other thing is blacks otherwise known as Obama voters supported it by 70%
Isn’t she the great-granddaughter of President Hoover?
Retract my post-too much vino.
The gays want equal treatment, however the law here allows a civil union for gay couples, which entitles them to all the benefits of a married man and woman, however I cannot have a civil union with a man that I want to live with, but do not want to marry, and have all the benefits of a married man and woman..
YES! HOW WISE! WE JUST LOST AN ELECTION SO THE WAY TO WIN IS TO BECOME JUST LIKE THE WINNERS!!!!
Golly. She sounds like a chip off the old block.
Here’s Silent Cal’s assessment of Hoover:
“That man has offered me unsolicited advice for six years, all of it bad.”
Is she a lesbo? If not, why is she so concerned about queer couplings?
I saw her say exactly the same thing several weeks ago on the Factor - when I was still watching Fox....(I have now come to my senses and haven’t turned it on since 6:30 election night).
Yep - that’s her thoughts on the matter...
Amazing, isn’t it?
Yes - I heard her say that on The Factor several week ago.
We don't have to wait for 'kids of her generation' since this is going before the CA Supreme Court and given it is a state constitution issue it will NOT go on to the Fed Supreme Court, so be prepared to have the amendment struck down by the CA Supreme Court.
The reason they will give in overturning it is that since they have already ruled on the validity of, and upheld, Gay Marriage based on 'the constitution' because nothing in the constitution prohibits it, then the passing of this amendment rips apart that very same constitution and is therefore unconstitutional.
Hoover is a RINO. Part of the same John McCain-country-club faction of the Republican party that has half of the FReepers looking to secede and the other half drunk right now because of our massive loss Tuesday.
It’s going to take a while to get the clowns out of the “big tent.”
