Why would anyone in the military want to work for a defeatist who won’t back them up?

I wonder if he’ll decide that the Obama Administration is ‘too far to the left’ and endorse the Republican candidate a few days before the next election.

I didn’t know Secretary of Disloyalty was a cabinet post.

Hagel’s foreign policy credentials are more appropriate for Bizmark’s Germany than for the United States nearly a century and a half later.

Is the governor of Nebraska Republican? If so, is he conservative or moderate? Moving Hagel into the Obama admin means that we could find a better "R" to replace this RINO.

Would Hagle act as a secretary of defense to a President who desires female infantrymen and Gay Pride Day at Fort Bragg?

Hagel might be bad enough to engender a military coup. Now there’s an idea....

Hagel for Secretary of Defense? Only if Barbara Lee (D-CA) isn't interested.

Picking Hagel would be like selecting Rahm Emanuel--a signal to Republicans that bipartisanship was just a slogan to fool people before the election, but that he plans to stick it to the Republicans every chance he gets.

You’re all nuts.

Kucinich will be the first Secretary of the “Department of Peace.”

Prediction: The best and brightest will be leaving the military as soon as they are able. Leaving the Wesley Clark’s and Colin Powell’s in charge. God help us.
