"Sorry, I will never give support to a leader who wants to allow abortions, even up to the full 9 month term. That is one sick man, and he will never get my support." Hopefully the same way pro-abortion President Clinton never got your support, right? (just making sure)

I guess it depends on your definition of 'support'. For instance, the author of the FOX piece has a pretty broad definition.

I'll disagree with many of Obama's policies, but I'll still recognize him as being the President of the United States and the commander-in-chief of our country, whether we like it or not.

As for abortion, it is high time that that issue is settled the way it is supposed to be settled: by a Constitutional amendment via Congress. Congress should get the balls to pass a proposed amendment banning all abortions except for when the mother's life is at serious risk, and put into the amendment that the amendment cannot be contested or repealed for a set time, say ten or twelve years (ideally, never repealed - though odds of getting this is unlikely). If necessary, it may be required that the amendment goes to the states (and the people) every decade or dozen years or so to be renewed; or that if the amendment fails, Congress and the people will accept the decision for that time period (tough, but this seems to be roughly the only way to get abortionists on board). Being a Constitutional amendment, and thus part of the Constitution, it will hold as much weight as any other piece of the Constitution, and cannot be challenged in court. Then millions of unborn can be saved, if the pro-life organizations claims that the majority of American are pro-life is true. Especially since the voting will be essentially one state, one vote (and so largely populated, liberal states such as California will lose power proportionally to the many sparsely populated, conservative states). With abortion out of the way, the country can focus on other issues. But this won't happen. The sick truth is that both parties, including the Republican Party, have an interest in keeping abortion a hot-button issue. It can at the least drive people to the polls, and keeps social conservatives in essence on the 'Republican plantation' (to borrow a particular phrase common on FR).

No support means no support. None, I don’t care who he is. Call him President or whatever you want to call him. He is not my leader.

And yes, Bill Clinton never got my support either. Some of us are truly serious about stopping the murder of babies in the womb and will never support anyone who is in favor of it.
