I get several "specials" via email from Barnes and Noble each week, and today I got one with the subject "Our 44th President - In His Own Words", then the email of course contained an advertisement for his books. I pressed reply, wrote "You've got to be kidding -- remove me from your list immediately." And then went and unsubscribed myself. Hopefully the liberal Barnes and Noble will begin to get the message.
Anyone knowing a good source for books and audio books that will not be supporting this kind of thing, I'll appreciate the info.

It’s still a free country, and yes if I want to boycott an establishment for selling something I strongly disapprove of, I can. If they were pushing pornography I’d do it... where is the line? We each get to choose for ourselves.
Point being you made a decision and told em not to send you anything else. Had you been a Socialist Seditious Rat SOB or a True Conservative that loves your country.....ya made a choice for yourself and anyone here that doesn’t like that can pack sand where the sun don’t shine IMHO !

The good posts here say library or direct order from an author you read about. That would be my public way of gaining access to books and periodicals etc. That way your entire community gets to read for price of 1 subscription.
Library is great place to relax these days anyway due all to many using the internet to read or order a book from home !
I am lucky to have a very small town library that is very well funded by locals and it is a great resource of ALL books on all subjects be they marxist, islamic, christian, etc etc ..... one must read and learn about those things that can hurt you and yours but in no way are obligated to fund their efforts to destroy what you love or promote. On either side of the issue that is something I respect.
Without goobermint funding we’d have to look hard for seditious activity in this country be it written or imposed in life.

Exactly. I tend to order my political books from the publishers (have not gotten too many lately... got tired of reading about the rats); right now I’m specifically looking for something of entertainment value to listen to while working around the house, novels on audiobooks. Thanks for all the references and the kind words. That means a lot.

Good grief. It’s a book about the next president after a big campaign - if you don’t want to read it don’t.
I recceived same email. I deleted without even looking at it.
Like radio or TV I can choose to watch or listen or I can change channel.
I do not get upset by it.
