A good thought. I have a handicapped child and we have resisted applying for SSI for him on that basis, thinking we really didn't need to do that, we could manage. Now, hell, if it doesn't matter all that much anyway, I'll grab what I can get along with all of the Obomaniacs. Use some political ju jitsu, use their own crap against them. When they lay me off, it's food stamps and unemployment time.

From what I’ve heard, most of the “social services” offices will turn a blind eye to fraud and abuse. They get paid/budgeted according to how many people they get signed up.
