Welcome to the first Groundhog Day of a total of 1462 more to go before we can wake up to a new day.
Yes, for the next 1462 days when we wake up, Obama will still be President-elect or President.
We have slipped into a time loop alternate universe and probably the best way of coping is to use this time wisely.
Over the next four years, you can
1. make significant progress in mastering a subject or an art or a skill or a trade or do two or several.
2. get your body in much better shape so we can outlive the libs
3. build or improve loving relationships with friends, family, or spouse
4. ingrain habits of cleanliness and neatness
5. ingrain habits of kindness and civility
6. grow closer to God, pray regularly, read the Bible regularly, go to church regularly
7. take a charity to your heart and become personally involved
8. join with others to educate a target group in your local community, State, or nationwide about why wisely regulated capitalism works and socialism/communism doesn't work. Start or join efforts at voter registration, candidate recruitment, and voter turnout.
9. make a point of doing some fun things regularly, too, and keeping a balance with joy in your life.
10. Get some more good ideas from others
Ordered a book from Amazon, Women’s Strength Training, which has muscle anatomy pictures.
Today my exercise was grocery shopping, which I don’t do very often as it is hard to stand for long. My husband normally does the grocery shopping, but I had a $9 off coupon, and wanted to shop for sale items at a certain store.
The cart had a stuck wheel so I got some good exercise pushing it.
I know when I’m reaching the end of my muscle energy as my muscles start to feel weak and get shakey. And the tendons start cogwheeling if I’ve really overdone it. I pace my leg muscles pretty carefully and rest frequently so I don’t stumble and fall or collapse.
Now I’m packing up a couple of boxes with movies, cans of fruit, and left over Halloween candy for a unit at Baghdad.
Yes, Twilight Zone or Outer Limits would be good, too. LOL!
