I just got off the phone with an on-line ammo seller and he said that the prices of ammo are going up rapidly due to the fact that one of the first laws that the democRATs are going to pass in January will be to place a 500% excise tax on all ammo.
He said that he will not be restocking his ammo and is running out FAST!!!
Anybody needing to stock up should do it NOW!!! Otherwise you will have to place a second mortgage on your house to buy a box of rounds.
The second law will be to reinstate the Brady bill and make it permanent
Yeah, you are probably right. I have been somewhat surprised by the few people who have picked up on Obama’s comments about creating a National Security Force “with just as much authority and resources as the military” because “we can not rely on the military”. The reason Obama and his goons can't rely on the military is because our military consists of a very conservative population and thereby Obama can not trust them to obey any directives to confiscate civilian guns and to arrest violators. So, he wants to develop his own loyal goo squad to do this work - as you suggested.
The other 28 are probably going to be some sort of acronym. Something like -Screw over America fast and hard! http://MilitaryShooters.com
You have been sold a bill of goods.
That’s easy for you to say 2 years after the thread was posted. ;)
Belay that.
GOA yes, NRA no.
NRA has endorsed hundreds of Democrats. Never again.
Uh-huh.
And they are going to get that past the House, how?
You know, the folks responsible for all taxes and spending?
“How well will your deputies do against Apaches? Most of them have families they want to go home to.”
So do the Apache pilots.
The NRA is (allegedly) non-partisan. They HAVE to endorse occasional Democrats or lose their tax status.
Like ‘em or not (and there is plenty to be disgusted at) they are the most effective gun lobby organization in DC. How many news reports do you see blaming the power of the GOA for sinking anti-gun legislation?
“Panic of idiots “
That was said in 1994 just before the assault weapons ban. Those that said such things said such a law was a loser and would never be passed. It was. We had 10 years of that crap. AR-15 mags went to as high as $50, averaging $35 and were hard to find. High cap pistol mags over 10 rounds were hard to find and expensive.
This makes you the idiot for claiming something that happened in the recent past will not be happening in the near future.
Those that forget history or doomed to repeat it, and that is idiocy.
So, your cowardly advice is to do nothing as all would be lost and there is nothing anyone can do about it anyway.
“They will be the national security force and they will burn your house to the ground.
“
Then the fight is on and theirs go up in flames next.
“So, your cowardly advice is to do nothing as all would be lost and there is nothing anyone can do about it anyway.”
Just out of curosity, what are you talking about?
