I justfigured we'd all start thinking about our options in the extremely unlikely event of a 0-bama win....
I don’t plan to run away.
Alaska can accommodate ten times that amount, just have to use our abundant natural resources to build the industries and infrastructure. If this was a scenario because the lower 48 was made inhabitable its absolutely feasible. No kidding, do some research on what Alaska is, has and can offer.
But please don’t be my neighbor unless you like target practice noise all day long.
I’ve done my time in Alaska, and it’s too cold for me. Sadly though, should the Stalinist win, open borders will destroy life where I’m at, so I have plans to get out.
Given sufficient global warming, the place might become paradise. Let the illegals fight over the bones of Los Angeles on 130 degree summer days. ;)

If Obama manages to steal this thing, and becomes the fascist dictator that I believe he will, I would not hesitate to move to AK and join Todd Palin’s secession movement. Then we could elect Sarah as much as we want.
Texas (where I am from originally) and New Hampshire are possibilities, too.
I plan to go as far as the nearest rallying point for the patriot forces.

I don’t see it that way. If the American government violates the constitution (which indeed it already has), the people and states have a right to leave the union.

When i started to learn for my Private pilots license I did it in Anchorage at Merril Field, best way to learn real aviation is to join the Alaska National Guard or any of the other branches, our military force here is strong and well funded.
not so much of aviation schools, they are there of course, air freight is BIG business here, Anchorage is where its all at.

We are considering moving back to Alaska if Obama wins. Not only because it is so far removed, but you can live off the land, we could keep our kids away from the surge in indoctrination that will go on, and Minnesota (where we currently live) will become uninhabitable.
BUT, I will say that I don’t believe Obama is going to win this. Not for a second. For all our faults and for every Obama voter, there are more people that are good, have common sense, and love America for what she is.
