You should check out our constitution some time if you want to see objective proof of your statement. It is a complete mess. Whenever the permanent majority party wants to advance their socialist agenda without getting their hands dirtier they put a measure on the ballot to restrict freedom or steal more money and call it the Save the Environment/Children/Schools/Women and Minorities act of 200X and it passes in a landslide.
I am curious. Did you reveal the identity of the egagement in your naval battle analogy you posted on an election thread a few days ago?
I’m surprised there are any businesses left in California, other than the entertainment “industry.”
As for the naval engagement, yes, I did get around to answering it. I pinged everyone who’d answered but I think your post went up while I was composing my response, so you got missed.
The answer is: The engagement at Surigao Strait as part of the much greater and more complex Battle of Leyte Gulf. That battle has always fascinated me. It had a bit of everything; old WW1 dreadnoughts slugging it out in a night gunnery duel, mass airstrikes on several battle fleets, submarine action, amphibious operation, dawn of the “cruise missle” (guided by a human brain, not an electronic one), the valiant stand of small ships against hopeless odds. I doubt we’ll see anything like that ever again.
